The Dayton Flyers (4-4, 3-2 PFL) remained in fifth place in the Pioneer Football League (PFL) after a home win against winless Valparaiso (0-7, 0-4), but managed to get back to .500 on the season. The Flyers pounded Valpo by the score of 45-0. There are only two remaining undefeated PFL league teams: Drake and Butler. The Flyers travel to unfriendly San Diego next weekend, where the Toreros are 4-3 overall, 3-1 in the league for fourth place in the league.
